For online florist Bloom & Wild, partnering with Sainsbury’s was their first move into physical retail stores
and the first opportunity to take the aesthetic and design of a digital-first brand into spatial design.
Whilst there’s always tighter constraints in working with retail, especially supermarkets, I created a few stand out
tricks to give the brand the exposure and awareness on the shop floor to hit the key metrics they were aiming for.

 
The design brief covered POS and packaging design, where we flood coated and branded the procona buckets, used bespoke gold hardware for POS and a new innovative packaging format that worked as a variation on a gift bag. The bag needed to be able to…

The design brief covered POS and packaging design, where we flood coated and branded the procona buckets, used bespoke gold hardware for POS and a new innovative packaging format that worked as a variation on a gift bag. The bag needed to be able to sit in water for long periods of time so the design challenge was to overcome this whilst still feeling like a gift-led solution.

The packaging also came with a small gift tag to write out to your recipient.
